WORLD CUP 2014: THE GAME WITH BITE

Soccer, Football, the World Cup Game,
Fame and fortune, it gets insane!
The 2014 World Cup, Brazil,
Left many spectators with a chill.
Four years come and go too fast, too far,
The nations rise to raise the bar.
A strapping figure bold and true,
Talent, skills and looks that woo.
Frustration born and compulsion bounds,
Aim to make it past all rounds.
And then we hear the ‘Jurassic’ claims,
Yes, that biter still remains.
Suarez, a team player, so tough and slick,
Third time biting, did the trick.
His bite is worse, than it sounds,
Shaking up, the stadium grounds.
The Italians shuddered, by the bite,
Lost the goal, game, cup and fight.
For all observers, it was quite the show,
But
for poor Chiellini, it was indeed a blow.
They say no-one’s safe, from his jaws,
When frustrated, out come the claws.
Ban and fine, is called by some,
This guy a champ is really dumb.
FIFA scorned for lame decision,
Suarez lost, his game position.
The game went to, a climax head,
The Germans leaving, all for dead.
Winners, losers and the rest,
The World Cup Game is still the best.
