Dear George,

I am a dynamic, creative and sports driven social media professional currently completing a bachelor degree in Professional Communications with a major in Public Relations and Digital Media. My enjoyment and critical interest in the sports media industry increased markedly since I started my degree, and has continued to grow since then. My degree and recent internship as Digital Producer for Channel 9's Kids Warner Brothers National Television Show has demonstrated my ability to express strong, motivational, innovative and creative communication skills throughout the use of many different platforms and mediums- including but not limited to the creation and execution of websites, online campaigns and the ongoing updates of various social media outlets. I strive to excel in everything I do with passion, integrity and determination to personally grow as an individual within the sport writing industry.

I have a strong background in communications and strategy development with hands on practical experience alongside the ability to generate groundbreaking ideas across many platforms. In addition- I have experience developing and managing social media strategies across brands, managing the workflow and community management activities of coordinators, creating engaging short form content and liaising with video producers and editors to create content for web base distribution, growing and engaging social communities, using insights to inform strategies, managing social media accounts and budgets, pitching ideas/proposals to clients and media, producing and editing videos with various software programs, wire-framing websites, constructing magazine designs/innovative advertisements and more importantly liaising and building genuine relationships with clients!

You will find me enthusiastic and extremely driven to achieve positive outcomes, as I understand well the power of the right message delivered to the right audience at the right time. My written communication skills are excellent as I am effective and articulate in what I do with a positive cutting edge and fun attitude towards it.

I would therefore welcome the opportunity to work for your club as a social media officer and help contribute to the spread of social media messages and practices.

I am more than willing to put in the long hard working part-time hours advertised with the flexibility to work on weekends!
